OF THE YEAR: Mrs. Ofelia Gonzalez.

Department, now holding the position of Billing Coordinator.
Her supervisor,
Oona Reyna, describes Ofelia as, “being an integral part of what makes Immokalee
Water & Sewer District so special. Ofelia is highly-skilled in the position that she currently holds as Billing
Coordinator. Ofelia has had the pleasure to have cross-trained in every customer service position over the past ten years, and can perform any task necessary to complete
any process within the Administration realm. Ofelia is very dependable
and has empowered her coworkers around her to achieve the same level of excellence.
Ofelia has taken accounting classes to enhance her portfolio and to prepare her for further advancement. Ofelia performs her job duties with minimal supervision, and
often detects and corrects others deficiencies, with ease. Ofelia juggles life,
school and work with such agility, that she deserves this award.”
