We recently accepted proposals for tank painting and repairs and the installation of a generator at the Airport Water
Plant.
The proposal for the tank painting was not acted on, and will be on the Agenda for the October 2009 board meeting.
The Board voted to accept the bid from Cummins for the generator rfp.
General Engineering RFQ
The Board has negotiated a contract with the highest ranked firm, AECOM.
Tank Cleaning RFP
The Board voted to accept the proposal from ENVIRONMENTAL & MARINE
CONSTRUCTION for tank cleaning. Although slightly higher ($500) over the three year period, it was determined that they would
be more responsive, since they were based in Florida.
