The Immokalee Water & Sewer District is governed by a local Board of Commissioners, which consists of seven members. Board members make decisions about District policies, including water rates, employee benefits, and etc. The Governor of the State of Florida appoints these board members. Immokalee residents who are interested in serving on the Board are invited to obtain a questionnaire, and submit it to the Governor's office. Qualified candidates must be registered voters, residents of the District, and citizens of the United States.

The Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m., in the Board Room at the Administrative Office, located at 1020 Sanitation Road, Immokalee, Florida 34142.
